Initial Providers: You must have a current or recently (within 90 days) expired health care provider BLS card to take any ACLS or PALS class OR demonstrate prior competence by possession of a current and valid state health care provider license. If you have questions about your particular license please email us.

Renewing Providers: You must have a current or recently expired (within 90 days) ACLS or PALS card to take a refresher class. If you are an experienced provider and possess a current and valid state health care provider license and your BLS certification has lapsed beyond 90 days, exceptions are made on a case by case bases. Please email us for consideration.

Skills check off’s and challenges can be provided by appointment in addition to the listed schedule. You must have a current BLS certification or recently expired (within 90 days) to challenge the ACLS provider course. If you do not meet the BLS requirements you may challenge the BLS course as well, but must pass the BLS challenge to qualify for an ACLS or PALS challenge. Students successfully completing an ACLS course will receive BLS certification in addition to ACLS.

Registration Terms and Conditions:

All classes on the class calendar are accredited by the American Safety and Health Institute. While the American Safety and Health Institute certification is widely recognized and accepted, it is the students responsibility to ensure they are receiving the correct training for their specific needs. Payment is required to register. Registration can be completed online, by phone, or in person PRIOR to the date of class. Registration in person is subject to availability of administrative staff. In other words, you need to make an appointment to register in person. DO NOT show up to the location without an appointment. All Vital Ethic’s classes are held at 4227 Sunrise Blvd #100 Fair Oaks CA 95628 unless a different location is specified on the calendar date.

We do not accept payments the day of class. All classes begin promptly at the listed start time. Late students may be required to reschedule. Students who cannot attend their scheduled class date are allowed one reschedule. Students who are “No-show” forfeit class registration fees entirely. Sorry there are NO REFUNDS. If Vital Ethics cancels a class a full refund will be provided or you may reschedule for a later date. Books are included in course fees for students attending initial ACLS or PALS provider courses and are provided in class. Loaner books are provided in class for students attending refresher courses.
