ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support
This is an ACLS continuing education course that covers the ECC recommendations for cardiac emergencies based on the 2010 updated standards. The initial course includes the ACLS study manual. The book can be picked up at our office by appointment for those students who would like to have it prior to class. Pre-course study is not required to attend this class but is recommended. - Prerequisites: CPR (Professional Rescuer) OR Health Care Provider BLS
- Class time for two day initial class = 16 hours
- Class time for one day re-certification = 8 Hours

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

This class meets the requirements for school teachers, day care providers, foster parents, coaches, etc.

CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (Health Care Provider)
Includes: legal ethical concerns, preventing disease transmission, general assessment techniques, managing the code, rescue breathing, adult, child, and infant CPR, automated external defibrillation (AED), and removal of airway obstructions. This class meets Basic Life Support (BLS) requirements for medical professionals, including RN’s, paramedics, EMT’s, CNA’s, lifeguards etc.

Child Care Provider Overview
There is an additional $5.00 per card service fee for child care providers receiving state required EMSA endorsement stickers. Remember, although First Aid certification is valid for three years the State of California requires daycare providers recertify CPR & First Aid every TWO years. Vital Ethics offers CPR certification that is valid for two years.
