Chiropractic: A Philosophy for Alternative Health Care

The leading Chiropractor college in the United States is known as Palmer College of Chiropractic. This school is located in Port Orange, Florida; Davenport, Iowa; and San Jose, California. Palmer College of Chiropractic originated by the father of Chiropractic, D.D. Palmer in 1897. Eighty-nine years later, in 1979 the school became accredited. This school has produced many Chiropractors. 26,000 Chiropractors practicing today graduated from this institute. Some of the programs offered at this college can be completed in three years including the Doctor of Chiropractic program. Another popular institution is Parker College of Chiropractic.

This college was previously located in Irving, Texas where it was founded in 1978, but in 1989, it was moved to its current location in Dallas, Texas. This school became accredited and was permitted to award Chiropractic degrees by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Life University is greatly considered when wanting to go to Chiropractic school. In 1974, this school was founded in Marietta, Georgia and became accredited in 1985. At this University, there are many other health and science degrees apart from a Chiropractic degree. Cleveland Chiropractic College is also highly ranked among the top Chiropractic schools. This college can be found in Los Angeles, Cleveland and Kansas. At this College, they provide two Doctor of Chiropractic degrees, one that last all four years and another that only require three and a half years to complete.
