First Aid USMLE

Many people are a bit hesitant to give first aid to people. The number one reason for this is because they always wonder if someone can come back on them. The whole goal of first aid is to save a person, but what if you don’t save them? What if you do more damage, as you can if you press too hard and what not? The question of the day is first aid liability: Can I be sued?
It used to be in the day that you could be sued. If you harmed a person while you tried to save them, then the family had a right to sue you. However, people who have said they were just trying to help and had saved a life, but with a little damage have argued this point. They have created a law for this, so people don’t fear what could happen if they don’t do things right even though they have had some first aid training. The book is probably wonderful, but I think a class should be taken as well.
