A Pharmacist not only has to be able to prevent dangerous drug interactions, they can also be held liable for giving the wrong advice when it comes to over the counter medication. Professional liability insurance is one of the best and least expensive ways to protect yourself. There are many insurance companies that specialize in this type of insurance coverage. Finding one that you are comfortable and confidant in will help boost your confidence in your profession as well give you the security that someone will be looking out for your best interest in the event of a law suit.
